I give up. XP No, I don't mean I'm gonna stop being a moderator here. (Or, as I've taken to thinking of myself, "The Curator". )

Since I started working at this club, I've been attempting to stay on top of all the faves we've been getting on club submissions; I've been sending notes to violators asking them to kindly unfave our stuff and refave the version in the artist's gallery.

Most of the time people are nice enough to politely comply and apologize. (I've actually run across a few that hadn't realized they were doing something wrong... ^raises an eyebrow^ ) However, there have been a few cases in which the culprit has either outright ignored me or been obnoxious and stubborn (which I interpret as laziness).

Le sigh. Unfortunately, there're just too many for me to keep this up. >_> So, yeah, I give up.

Unless I get a lot of negative feedback from you guys (meaning: if you don't want me to do it, you darn well better tell me as much) I'll most likely end up eventually changing the way this place works. Basically, it'll be how the ~fentonxphantom-club is set up. (If you don't like yaoi/slash/man-on-man-action, DO NOT CLICK THAT LINK.)

...That happens to be the only other club I'm currently working at. While it may not be the most convenient setup for those wanting to browse, I like it 'cause it ensures that credit goes where it's due.

Here's how it works in a nutshell:
I make an individual journal for each artist in the club that has work submitted (and I'll make new ones as needed, of course), and put up links to the work in their gallery.

That way, we don't have this silly issue of people faving club submissions.

RULES:
Joining/Affiliation
To join the club or be be affiliated with us please send a note either labeled "Joining" or "Affiliates" as comments may be overlooked.

1. The most important rule when joining, is making sure your art doesn't appear within the club's favorite. If it does, make sure that with your request to join that we remove you from our favorite's list as to conform to DeviantART Rule #216 -- [link] -- So that we are not banned.

2. Please show your and add the club's icon to your Journal or Signature.

To add to your Journal type : icondp-fanclub : Without spaces. It should look like this:


To add it to your Signature type : devdp-fanclub : Without spaces. It should look like this:

3. Please add the club to your watch list.

4. As of today 7-26-06 the club will no longer accept pictures just titled after the character. Examples - titles such as Danny, Danny Phantom, or even Danneh. We need REAL titles.


Submitting fanwork
When submitting fanwork please label it "fanart" or "fanfic" and give us the link where it can be found.

1. Please have fanart a in JPEG format because PNG format can't be copied and submitted.

2. Please only one submission per note.

3. Any rating is fine as long as it is given a proper label.

4. Slash is accepted, but must have a preview.


Favoriting and Commenting:
If you are going to favorite or comment on art from the club, please FAV AND COMMENT ON THE ORIGINAL!
